What can we expect from the new collection spring/summer 2010? Thinking about the trend of considerably thick platforms that have been tenaciously uplifting the stilettos for already two years now, I wonder if the designers will decide to give our tired feet a bit of a break.
Don't get me wrong, though. I am in the first line among the women who are sacrificing some comfort for the sake of the real art on their feet (Italian stilettos ARE the piece of art, whether you are willing to admit it or not!).
However, snow and ice of these days made me worry and choose safer, flat (and definitely less elegant) solution with rubber sole. Sometimes it is wise to give up and admit the defeat due to the force majeur.
Well, should the trend continue, my only hope is that the springtime will be kind and less rainy so that we can fully enjoy wuthering heights on our platformed stilettos!
